Our Prayer Conference speaker, Rick Astle is the author of: “The Priority of Kingdom-Focused Prayer”, “Emphasizing God’s Agenda When You Pray”. You can purchase a copy of Dr. Astle’s book at the church.
Reverend Rick Astle began his ministry as Director of Missions for the Waccamaw Baptist Association on March 5, 2007. His previous ministry experience includes serving as a Senior Pastor and as a Director of Missions in Tennessee and in North Carolina. He has a burden for lost souls, and his conference and teaching ministry regarding prayer has reached local churches in over twenty states. His book, “The Priority of Kingdom-focused Prayer,” is in its fifth printing and can be obtained by ordering through LifeWay Christian Bookstores. Brother Rick comes to Horry County with a vision to unite the pastors and churches of the Waccamaw Baptist Association toward a mighty move of God that will bring spiritual awakening, revival and a great harvest of souls. He and his wife have one son.
